Emerging from the heart of the Pacific Northwest, Ryder Wolfe and The Hunt conjures a sound that is as haunting as it is soulful and raw. Blending blues, indie, and folk-rock the band invites listeners into a realm where mysticism meets melody — where the veil between myth and music grows thin.

At the helm is Ryder Wolfe, a Detroit-born singer, songwriter, and producer whose lyrics weave through themes of death and rebirth, shadow work, recovery, and soul searching. Ryder’s voice is an incantation — warm and gritty, unflinching in its vulnerability and charged with an alluring, soulful presence.

Backing them is a trio of sonic alchemists: Tom Paluck, lead guitarist with a love for analog tones and experimental textures who pulls inspiration from Peter Green and Pink Floyd; Patrick LaLonde, a self-taught bass player with an intuitive groove and a penchant for gear-fueled exploration; and Erin Freise, a classically trained drummer whose deep understanding of theory and passion for music grounds the band’s powerful flights in rhythmic precision.

Inspired by artists like Fleetwood Mac and Bonnie Raitt, and rooted in the traditions of blues, folk, and soul. Ryder Wolfe and The Hunt doesn’t just make music — they craft spells. Their debut EP, Three of Swords, now streaming everywhere, is a visceral initiation into their world. Catch them live at a venue in Portland, Oregon and surrounding cities soon. Follow along and stay tuned for updates about their first full length album coming 2026.
